Rob Rowsell has a truly incredible story. In 1999, he was living on the streets, homeless, toothless, and unemployable. Addicted to crystal meth and crack cocaine, Rob was living the criminal lifestyle, shoplifting and stealing to provide for his drug habit. At the direction of one of his probation officers, Rob admitted himself into a thirty-day drug rehab. By the grace of God, he has been sober since that day.
Upon graduation from drug rehab, Rob had no job, no driver’s license, no car, no place to call home, no credit and two probation officers to contend with on unrelated matters. He owed $15,000 in traffic fines before a license would even be considered, he owed $8,000 in restitution for bad checks he had written, and he owed the IRS $40,000 in back taxes. He knew a thing or two about hurdles and obstacles, but he wasn’t going to let that stop him once his drug habit was behind him.
In 2001, Rob got his driver’s license back. In 2002, three years to the day from when he got sober, Rob closed escrow on his first home. In 2004, he purchased his first auto repair business with his wife, Claudia.
In 2007, the couple attended real estate classes and started their second business: buying, fixing and selling houses. Shortly thereafter, in 2009, they were inducted into the school Hall of Fame for their accomplishments in real estate. In 2010, Rob and Claudia bought their third business, auto repair shop number two, and they purchased their fourth business, another auto repair shop, in 2014. Now, in 2017, Rob will publish his first book!
Rob’s breakthrough coaching sessions have helped many people in numerous ways, helping them fix their credit, purchase their first homes, and start their businesses or take their existing ones to the next level. He is best known, however, for his heart. Having come from a rough background, with many odds against him, this average guy with an eighth-grade education has accomplished much, and he wants others to do all they are capable of, without ever settling for less.
Rob is very generous with his time outside of the business and coaching arena as well, volunteering whenever possible with his church and local charities.
All of these life experiences have taught Rob several very unique strategies that have contributed significantly to his success. He shares them in his writings in an entertaining way, telling his real life story and taking readers along on his truly unbelievable journey, all while coaching them to live one of their own. Rob is truly addicted to life, and he wants others to experience that same joy in living and living successfully.
