Khaleila Davis came from Jamaica, W.I. to New York City with her parents back in the 1980s. She grew up in a low, middle-class family that worked hard for what they obtained in this new world. She graduated from college and became a clinical research professional. Even with model parents to follow, she managed to get herself into debt twice, totaling over $100,000. Not letting that situation derail her from her future potential and with just a few years of practicing good money management skills and using the Bible as a tool, she managed to pay off all her debt and purchase three homes. She not only pursued her debt with intention but also made sure she enjoyed the ride. She has traveled the world on a shoestring budget and begun multiple successful businesses. Driven to action by seeing those around her who feel powerless in their understanding of personal finance and answering the CALL to aid in eliminating generational poverty, she started sharing her knowledge of financial empowerment! She started volunteering with different community debt educator organizations to share her message about the importance of proper financial management. She founded AVA OLIVIA UNLIMITED as an answer to a call she believed was placed on her life. Khaleila has spoken at financial workshops in budgeting, debt, credit, and financial goal setting workshops from non-profit organizations and corporate organizations to high school students. She is best known for her ability to engage and encourage others to be intentional about their personal finance. She continues to share her knowledge to empower others.
