When it comes to private lending in real estate, Jodi Vetterl knows her stuff! After an amazing 20-year career in high tech software sales where she won multiple sales achievement awards, closed 7-digit deals, and enjoyed several President’s Club trips around the world, she designed a 12-month exit strategy using her private lending experience and was able to self-retire at age 46!
Motivated to live a well-balanced life and to respond to the many who asked: “What did you do to be able to retire so young?”, she realized she had a natural talent and passion for teaching and a sincere desire and innate ability to help others achieve their financial goals through her knowledge and resources.
Jodi is the author of the book, Beyond the Banks: Success Strategies in Real Estate as a Private Lender. She spent the last 15 years building up a real estate portfolio in both the USA and Canada as a passive investor with such strategies as buy and hold single-family homes, investing in multi-family buildings through limited partnership, and private lending to active investors rehabilitating homes and land development. She shares these strategies in her book, Beyond the Banks, because she enjoys educating others with the resources and knowledge that have helped her create life balance in a more heartfelt way. As much as Jodi enjoys her passion for real estate investing, writing, coaching, and speaking, she and her husband, Greg, were blessed with a beautiful son, Hunter, who loves to be out on his bike and in the trails. Having the time and energy to enjoy these precious years with Hunter is her ultimate “WHY” in life.
