On the way toward refining his photography and entrepreneurial skills, David enjoyed pursuits in landscaping, factory work, banking and farm labour. He spent a summer working in an Oakville cemetery, another in an open pit mine in northern Quebec. These experiences opened his mind to a great big world filled with a myriad of fascinating, wondrous characters.
Since becoming a professional photographer over 30 years ago, he has continued to enjoy working alongside people of character and passion whether in an open field, a place of industry or a corporate boardroom. Many have shared their passion with him through the product or service they offer to the world.
So many stories! Building a studio on a 5-acre property, teary brides, passionate designers, dedicated chefs… David taught part-time at Ontario colleges and universities for 13 grand years where he met interesting, engaged and exhilarating young men and women. During this time, he earned his master’s in education degree.
Currently, he is spreading the word on photography via his book “Image Power”. His topics range from ideas to grow your business, to the workings of this exquisite technology, to the history and language of photography.
These informative presentations, infused with reflections of a philosophical nature are destined to motivate and inspire!
