
Richard grew up in Revere, MA a small city outside of Boston. He graduated from high school and then dropped out of college after a couple of months. He went to work for an airline kitchen where he met his wife of 28 years Barbara. One year later, Barbara gave birth to Richie on November 17, 1987. Three years later they had Matthew. Richard decided that he didn’t want to work a blue-collar job for his entire life so he enrolled in a computer technical training school at night for 2 years. Once he graduated he went to work for a real estate investment company in their IT department. Soon after that he returned to college and spent 3 years going to school at night and graduated with honors. He went on to start his own successful IT consulting company and has run it for 17 years.
Richard has traveled the world and became witness to a lot of cultures and people he has met along his journey’s.
He has lived his life with much happiness and gratitude but also encountered a lot of suffering along this journey. He lost his father at the age of 27, his grandfather at the age of 37 and lost his son Richie at the age of 47.
Despite all these tragedies he was reborn a new person who powers through life with happiness and gratitude for what he has. He decided to write his first book about dealing with the loss of his son and hopes it will help others that find themselves suffering a devastating loss. His book will benefit his son Richie’s foundation.
He is also in the process of developing a life coaching business that will help people get through the grief from a lost child or loved one. As well as assist people in dealing with the struggles of life which is keeping them from living a fulfilled and happy life.
