Karola was born and bred in Hannover, Germany, and  has  lived  in  Switzerland,  United  Kingdom,  Hong  Kong  and  is  since  a  resident  for  more  than  two  decades  in  her  chosen  hometown  of  The  Hague. Being an expat herself, she understands, like no other, exactly what it means to move countries and continents, looking for and finding a home before the blessing of the internet. Karola has moved 26 times in her lifetime. She has worked successfully in the corporate world for many  years  before  allowing  her  own  entrepreneurial  spirit to emerge.
