Irina was a Spanish high school teacher before she had her own translation agency and foreign language school in 2002. She was extremely loved and appreciated by her students because her belief is that: “Teaching is about loving and sharing one’s passions with others.”
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Philology and Ph.D. in Philology Sciences in Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi, Romania. She also has a master’s degree in Conflict Mediation from the University of Alicante in Spain.
For the past three years, she was involved in several personal and professional development programs; and now, she is a facilitator in Andy Szekely’s programs for adult education.
In 2014, she founded an NGO named The International Cultural Center of Iasi, Romania because she also loves organizing multicultural events. As the President of this NGO, Irina coordinates a lot of cultural activities such as art exhibitions, cultural meetings and multicultural shows. This is how she serves her community – caring for the arts, the Romanian people, and the foreign artists in Iasi and Romania.
She is constantly striving to promote her native city — Iasi — and the Romanian artists throughout the world and to create cultural bridges between nations, because she strongly believes that beauty and arts are the keys to bringing people together.
