At the age of 15, the young, irreverent, and ambitious Daniel was already acknowledged as a leader and innovator. His commitment to the Eagle Scouts molded him to set lofty goals and to work hard to achieve them.

After proudly serving his country in the United States Navy, Daniel’s spiritual awakening led him to a life of service and inspiration to others. His christian ministry, based in San Diego, California, continually reminded Daniel that there is a bigger purpose in life: to humbly serve, to put the needs of others before yourself, and to trust in God.

The year 2000 marked a profound shift in Daniel’s life. Mylene, his very own Travangel-Mate, entered his life, that once-in-a-lifetime heartbeat with whom he shares his hopes, dreams, and journey. Daniel and Mylene built a successful business and inspired others as motivational speakers across the United States. Now, together with their son Michael, the Lantises are a beautiful example of combining faith, family values, and living life to its fullest, particularly through travel.

In Daniel’s never-ending quest to enhance the life experience of others, he created the Travangelist Program. He knows the many blessings of travel can change lives and create opportunities, and this brings Daniel more inspiring, fulfilling, goosebumps moments all along the way. The Travangelist is also an author, travel franchise builder, and a promoter of luxury travel.
