Chanel-Alexandria “C-A” Washington, specializes in helping aspiring leaders and growing organizations convey excellence with civility, style, and charm.
C-A is an Emily Post Institute Business Etiquette trainer program graduate, former board member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) DC Chapter, and an alumna of both People to People International and the Harvard Kennedy School’s Women & Power program.
She is the Founder and Executive Director of the Image & Etiquette Institute, a personal image and organizational branding firm dedicated to empowering clients to develop their custom “A.R.C.” to use Appearance, Relationships and Credibility to achieve their most important goals.
C-A is a firm believer that with the right techniques and habits, we can ALL communicate with confidence and connect more authentically. This is why helping others recognize the importance of caring for relationships, whether personal, professional or temporary, is the foundation for all she does. In this realm, she helps others take ownership while pursuing excellence each day!
Prior to becoming an author, speaker and trainer, C-A served in numerous leadership roles in both state and federal government agencies, in addition to the private sector. During this time, she also served as a Co-Chair of the Atlanta Federal Executive Board’s Workforce Development Council, training and mentoring many of the up and coming leaders in the region. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with an emphasis on organizational behavior, in addition to a Master’s in Public Finance and Management. C-A is an extremely active member in the Atlanta metropolitan area and enjoys serving in the community and traveling with her husband.
